The undefeated Academic team at Brockbank Jr High,
with co-captain Lindsie Bressler at
the helm, took the district championship today!!
This is actually an incredibly high score. Both teams were very competetive. Normally if one team has a score this high, it is because the other team isn't very good and their score is very low. It was a buzzer beater. We thought the clock would never get to zero in time to keep Brockbank in the lead. But they never let the other team get an edge.NEXT STOP . . . . . NATIONAL COMPETITION!!!!!!
(The only bummer is that we live in such a technological age. You can compete in a national championship without ever leaving your own city. They don't get to go anywhere exciting!)

YAY!!!! Congrats! Tell her to enjoy Nationals...it is an unforgetable experience. You do get to go to a special place-well at least not your own school (we did) but either way it is an awesome experience. Tell her I say congrats!

Great job Lindsie! That is awesome. And your mom finally got to post about her "other kids."
We are very proud of you Lindsie and the entire Brockbank team! That is quite an accomplishment. Make sure you keep track of all these great things. They will add up when you start wanting to go to college. And you kept the Brockbank tradition alive. Good job!
